Like a nav app's "avoid tolls": metered spots never get recommended.
Hoboken Parking Sucks, the group chat
- #leaving-now yell your spot as you pull out
- #sweeper-spotted saw the truck? Your sighting recalibrates this app's ETAs
- #memes the best ones go on the site with your name on it
- #wins parked in under 2 minutes? Brag
Go now
The sweeper just finished, or finishes within 45 minutes. A whole block-side emptied out and is refilling. The best odds of the week.
Opens soon
Cleaning starts within two hours, so residents are pulling out right now. Circle nearby and take a vacated spot.
Long shot
Nothing special happening on that curb. Keep driving.
Dashed: skipped for you
Resident-only curbs in visiting mode, or meters when the toggle above is on. Never recommended.
The sweeper itself
The yellow chip rolling the map is the truck's live position, timed from real pass reports.
Your address is the whole app
Save where you're going once and every bet, every loop and every walk time is measured from there. Change it any time from the bar under the logo, or hit "use my current location" when you're already circling.
Two weapons
Park now + Loop is the daytime weapon. Stay tonight + Loop is the coming-home-from-work weapon. Hunting a quick spot while sweeps are running? Park now shows what's turning over this minute. Rolling in for the night? Stay tonight finds the curbs opening up before you leave in the morning. Either way, the Loop drives you through the best of them in the smartest order.
Stay tonight flips the logic
Curbs swept earlier today hold the freshest inventory all evening. Curbs swept tomorrow morning open up tonight as residents dodge the ticket — those bets always show a gone-by time so you never get coached into one.
Visiting or resident
Most Hoboken block-sides are permit-only on one side. Tap the pill in the header — it's painted like the signs themselves: white with green letters means anyone gets 4 hours, green with white letters means residents only. Visiting never recommends a green-sign curb. ⚠ means we haven't photographed that sign yet: trust the pole, not us.
Did Hoboken parking not suck today?
Tip me instead of the ticket you would've gotten. Free forever, unofficial, built by a neighbor.
